About the Journal
Artificial Intelligence is redefining the boundaries of scientific exploration, technological innovation and human achievement. Its potential extends far beyond automating existing processes or improving established methodologies. AI is increasingly enabling researchers to explore unexplored possibilities, uncover previously unknown relationships, develop original inventions and address challenges that were once considered difficult, impractical or beyond conventional capabilities.
The Journal of AI-Enabled Breakthroughs (JAIEB) is an international, multidisciplinary scientific journal dedicated to publishing original research, transformative discoveries, innovative inventions and technological breakthroughs enabled by artificial intelligence.
The journal provides a platform for researchers, scientists, engineers, technologists and innovators who are using AI to create new knowledge, develop unprecedented capabilities and translate ambitious ideas into meaningful scientific and practical achievements.
JAIEB welcomes research in which artificial intelligence serves as an enabling force for discovery, invention, experimentation, design, development and problem-solving. Contributions may involve autonomous AI systems, human–AI collaboration, generative intelligence, intelligent experimentation, computational discovery or other emerging approaches that demonstrate significant advances beyond existing capabilities.
The journal seeks to move beyond conventional discussions of what AI can do and explore what becomes possible when human intelligence, scientific knowledge and artificial intelligence work together.
Our philosophy is to recognize research not merely for its use of artificial intelligence, but for the new possibilities, discoveries and achievements it enables.

What We Particularly Seek
An important distinction should be established between ordinary AI applications and genuine AI-enabled breakthroughs.
JAIEB particularly encourages research that:
-
Achieves something that was previously technically infeasible or impractical.
-
Introduces an original invention, device, system or technology.
-
Discovers new scientific knowledge or previously unidentified relationships.
-
Enables autonomous experimentation or scientific exploration.
-
Solves longstanding problems through innovative AI-enabled approaches.
-
Converts AI-generated concepts into functional, testable prototypes.
-
Demonstrates capabilities beyond existing technological approaches.
-
Establishes new directions for interdisciplinary scientific research.
The journal does not require every submission to demonstrate something literally impossible before. Significant, verifiable advances that expand existing capabilities are also welcome.
Impossible to Possible by AI: The Breakthrough Demonstration Series
The Impossible to Possible by AI series is a distinctive editorial initiative of the Journal of AI-Enabled Breakthroughs, dedicated to showcasing extraordinary achievements made possible through artificial intelligence.
The series seeks contributions that demonstrate how AI can extend existing scientific, engineering and technological capabilities, overcome longstanding limitations and enable outcomes that were previously considered impractical, prohibitively complex or unattainable using conventional approaches.
We particularly welcome:
-
AI-enabled inventions and working prototypes.
-
Autonomous scientific discoveries and experimental demonstrations.
-
Novel engineering solutions to challenging problems.
-
AI-generated designs translated into functional technologies.
-
Breakthrough materials, devices and intelligent systems.
-
Unexpected scientific findings emerging from AI-assisted exploration.
-
Human–AI collaborative achievements with demonstrable impact.
Each contribution should clearly establish the original challenge, the role of AI, the resulting achievement and the evidence supporting the claimed breakthrough.
Our objective is to showcase research that does not merely improve existing technologies, but opens new directions for scientific discovery and technological innovation.
Editorial and Peer-Review Policy
JAIEB is committed to maintaining high standards of scholarly quality, research integrity, originality and scientific transparency.
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment to evaluate their relevance to the journal's aims and scope, originality, scientific contribution and compliance with submission requirements.
Manuscripts considered suitable for further consideration are evaluated through independent peer review by qualified experts in the relevant research disciplines.
Evaluation Criteria
Submissions are assessed according to the following criteria:
-
Originality and Novelty: The originality and significance of the reported discovery, invention or innovation.
-
AI Contribution: The specific contribution of artificial intelligence to achieving the reported outcome.
-
Scientific and Technical Validity: The reliability of the methodology, computational framework, experimental approach and supporting analysis.
-
Demonstration and Evidence: The quality of experimental, computational, analytical or practical evidence supporting the claims.
-
Reproducibility and Transparency: The availability of sufficient methodological information to enable independent assessment and verification.
-
Significance and Impact: The potential contribution to scientific knowledge, technological advancement or practical applications.
Research Integrity
JAIEB expects all authors to comply with accepted standards of responsible research and scholarly publishing.
Authors are responsible for the accuracy, originality and integrity of their submissions. Research involving human participants, animals, sensitive data or other regulated activities must comply with applicable ethical and regulatory requirements.
The journal does not accept fabricated, falsified, plagiarized or misleading research.
Editorial decisions are based on scholarly merit and are independent of commercial considerations.
Responsible and Transparent Use of Artificial Intelligence
As a journal dedicated to AI-enabled research, JAIEB recognizes the importance of responsible, transparent and accountable use of artificial intelligence in scientific publishing.
Authors must disclose the use of relevant AI tools and systems where they have materially contributed to research design, data generation, computational analysis, image generation, interpretation or manuscript preparation.
Such disclosures should identify the tools or systems used and explain their contributions to the research.
Artificial intelligence systems cannot be listed as authors. Human authors retain full responsibility for the accuracy, originality, validity and integrity of submitted work.
AI-generated hypotheses, designs, predictions and discoveries must be appropriately evaluated and supported by evidence. AI-generated outputs alone do not constitute verified scientific discoveries.
JAIEB encourages transparent reporting of computational workflows, relevant datasets, model configurations and validation procedures, subject to applicable privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property and safety requirements.
